Program Crashing due to Spatial Tendon attachment on Contact with another Object

  1. I've attached a rope to two quadcopters using sites and spatial tendons. When the rope makes contact with the cylinder the spatial tendon gets pulled and the program crashes ( see attachment). I've tried increasing stiffness and modifying other parameters. I am wondering if it is even possible to use spatial tendons for this purpose or if I should be connecting the objects another way: i.e. fixed tendon or as all one body - the way the humanoid is implemented. Thank you.
